How do they work?
Anti-wrinkle injections work by reducing the muscle movement in the treated area. In turn, we can reduce wrinkles and lines caused by these movements.
How long do they last?
Anti-wrinkle injections are not permanent. They can last between 2 to 4 months and the maximum effects of the treatment will show between day 5-14 post-treatment.
What does aftercare involve?
For the first 48 hours post-treatment you should:
Do not rub or massage the area for 24 hours after the treatment; avoid strenuous exercise; stay upright for 4 hours after the treatment and do not lie on your front for the first 24 hours after the treatment; avoid tightly fitted headwear across the forehead; reduce excessive alcohol consumption.
